Clean and White Teeth: Brush your teeth with baking soda and salt for a clean, fresh feeling and a beautiful smile.
Protect Your Luscious Lips: Use a lip balm that contains beeswax, especially in winter before you go outside. According to Dr. Oz, beeswax is the best ingredient to protect and actually retain your body’s own hydration in the lips.
Sinus Infection, Cold and Flu Relief: When we are indoors more during the cold winter months, we use our heaters and that can be drying to our skin and respiratory areas. Vaporize your room by adding 1/4 cup of white vinegar to your vaporizer while you are resting and when you have cold or flu, use a vaporizer at night while you are sleeping.
Cold sore relief: apply vinegar to the area to help the cold sore heal more quickly.
Upset stomach: add one teaspoon of honey and one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to a glass of warm water and sip to relieve an upset stomach.
Hair rinse: mix 1/4 cup of white vinegar to a quart of water in a plastic bottle and keep near the shower. Before washing your hair, every now and then, massage the rinse into your hair. Rinse with warm water to clean product build up from your hair. Feel how clean and silky your hair feels!

Activated Charcoal – To absorb odors in the car, shoe closet or bathroom, place a cup of activated charcoal in a dish or basket lined with paper. It will provide added health benefits by acting as a detoxifier to keep air fresh and clean and charcoal removes allergens. Every 3 months, dry the charcoal in the sun for reuse continually. You can find activated charcoal at a pet store; lump charcoal at a hardware store. Do not use charcoal briquettes that are treated for the barbecue.
Baking Soda – Put an open box in the refrigerator to remove food odors. Replace every 3 months. Soak clothes in water and baking soda for 1 hour to remove smoke odors. Sprinkle baking soda in shoes and on the carpet. Add essential oils to baking soda, sprinkle on area rugs or sofa. Vacuum. Try lavender, orange or lemon essential oil for a fresh scent.
Natural Cedar – Use natural cedar wood to remove odors from closets, gym bags and shoe boxes/trees. Cedar is a natural repellant to moths, silver fish and cockroaches. To activate the cedar scent, rub lightly with sand paper.
Essential Oils – Essential oils are a natural antibacterial product. Freshen drapes by putting a few drops of lavender, orange or lemon essential oil in 1 cup water in a spray bottle.
Pure Vanilla Extract – Put 1 to 2 tablespoons in a dish on the kitchen counter for a fresh smell instead of commercial room deodorizers
Lavender Essential Oil – Soak cotton balls in lavender oil and put them in a dish on your sweater shelf to repel moths.
